"It's not what you do, but how you do it."
Often I cradle my inspiration from collaborating with others, as well as by interacting with my environment by observation. A good hike up a mountain, an interesting story or unusual design choice might peek my interest in birthing or building onto ideas.
Bringing people together has always been apart of who I am, and I hope to do just that within my career- whether it be from delivering a project or working in a team. Just like most art forms, I believe that design is an interactive experience for both viewers and creators. Delicate in detail, yet bold in communication, there is a sense of connection in the process of engaging with visual stimulation and harmony. Psychology is another topic that inspires me- I find it so fascinating how elements such as shape, colour and placement can have such an effect on the brain without one always be conscience of it!
The best part of working in design is having the ability and to breathe life into an idea, wherever it might have come from- it's the little scribbles and post notes that get a project to the next step.
